Store Policies

Below you'll find Apple Tree Knits' store policies.  Many questions may be answered by reading these, or by reading through our FAQ's.  If you find your question isn't answered here, please don't hesitate to use the Contact Us form above!


Domestic orders under 11.5 oz's will ship USPS First Class. Domestic orders over 11.5 oz's will ship USPS Priority Mail. International orders will ship USPS First Class International.

Lost packages: In the event that a package is not delivered within USPS's given timeframe, please contact us so that we can address the situation.  The first step is generally to contact USPS with the package's tracking information, and allow 1-2 days for them to locate the package.  If they cannot, the customer can opt for a full refund or for a replacement package to be sent.


Yarn may be returned for any reason within 30 days of purchase, provided yarn is in original condition and buyer contacts Apple Tree Knits to initiate the return. Yarn that is not in original condition (not in original skein/cake form, smells of smoke, stained, etc.) cannot be returned. In the rare case that there is a problem with your yarn, please contact us as soon as you become aware of the issue; these situations are best handled on a case-by-case basis. Due to the nature of digital products, we are not able to offer any refunds on pattern purchases.
